{"id":14661,"date":"2022-01-23T09:26:34","date_gmt":"2022-01-23T15:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/genealogytipoftheday.com\/?p=14661"},"modified":"2022-01-23T09:26:34","modified_gmt":"2022-01-23T15:26:34","slug":"the-brick-wall-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/genealogytipoftheday.com\/index.php\/2022\/01\/23\/the-brick-wall-break\/","title":{"rendered":"The Brick Wall Break"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you are not making progress on that brick wall, considering doing one of these alternate genealogy activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>digitizing <\/em>something you have that has not been digitized before; <\/li><li><em>putting <\/em>identification information on digital images of pictures; <\/li><li><em>writing <\/em>up one of your solved problems; <\/li><li><em>organizing <\/em>and cleaning your digital genealogy files; <\/li><li><em>reviewing <\/em>a family you thought you were &#8220;done with;&#8221;<\/li><li><em>finding <\/em>ways to preserve and share answers to questions you have already solved; <\/li><li><em>reaching <\/em>out to that family member you have been avoiding for information; <\/li><li><em>improving <\/em>your genealogy skills by reading an article, watching a webinar, looking into classes, etc.; <\/li><li><em>washing <\/em>the dishes. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That last one was a joke.
