To search the records, they need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>draft registrant&#8217;s full name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>date of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>city\/county and state of the draft board where they registered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if known,  include the draft board code (three numbers separated by two hyphens) on the second page of the card.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a charge of $20 for a copy of the record. Requests can be sent to atlanta.archives@nara.gov. You will be billed if a record is located. Please follow the directions stated above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s helpful to find the World War I draft registration card first. That can be done on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/search\/collections\/6482\/\">Ancestry <\/a><\/em>or <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.familysearch.org\/search\/collection\/1968530\">FamilySearch<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The right hand page includes additional information. In my case, that page was blank, but the headings indicate what information is included.
