But other times there are easier members of the family to find and sometimes finding those individuals can provide me with additional information to help find the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These \u201ceasy pickings\u201d include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individuals whose name is less likely to be spelled wrong in a census.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children in a census whose ages are less likely to be off .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A relative who was better set financially and left more records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A relative who received a military pension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A relative who was in a different social class and left better records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A relative who lived longer when perhaps better records were kept.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A relative who lived in an area that kept better records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These approaches won\u2019t always work. No approach always works.
