Full-text search:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>only finds what <em>FamilySearch <\/em> has available,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>has transcription errors that make some names virtually impossible to find,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>requires you to know how to search effectively and creatively,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is not guaranteed to find every reference to your person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Manual searches are still necessary. Use of original and other indexes are still necessary. Use of full-text search is not, in this researcher&#8217;s opinion, an exhaustive genealogy search.
