I immediately said there was a shallow draw west of the house but no ravine. Then I Iooked back at the picture and I immediately realized what she meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I heard her say &#8220;above the house,&#8221; my mind immediately thought &#8220;north of the house.&#8221; After all, north is &#8220;above&#8221; on a map. It&#8217;s relatively flat north of the house. Then I looked back at the photograph and realized what she meant and said yes&#8230;there is a ravine there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though the picture does not indicate it, I know that the pilot was northeast of the house\/barns when this photograph was taken and probably just a little bit north of the subdivision that now is across the highway from what was then Grandma&#8217;s farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perspective matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you know what perspective you are looking at things from?
