Generally speaking, these are things you &#8220;know&#8221; but for which you have no documentation. Assumptions could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Married near where the first child was born<\/li>\n<li>Wife outlived the husband<\/li>\n<li>All the children married and had their own children<\/li>\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Assumptions can very from person to person. But&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>cross one of those assumptions off. What if it were not true? Would your research change?
