The names of warrantees (if the warrant generated a land patent) at the Bureau of Land Management website <a href=\"https:\/\/glorecords.blm.gov\/search\/default.aspx\">(https:\/\/glorecords.blm.gov\/search\/default.aspx<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>If you are unfamiliar with land warrants, make certain to have an understanding of the following terms first:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>patentee<\/li>\n<li>warrantee<\/li>\n<li>patent<\/li>\n<li>warrant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And if your ancestor received land, there are additional terms to learn. All are described on the <a href=\"https:\/\/glorecords.blm.gov\/reference\/default.aspx#id=05_Appendices|01_Glossary\">BLM&#8217;s &#8220;Reference&#8221; page<\/a>.
