There may or may not be employment records related to their employment<\/p>\n<p>The word&#8217;s not often used today, but one can easily find it in newspapers.\u00a0 I found over 60,000 references to the word\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.genealogybank.com\/1807GT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">GenealogyBank<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>I only found 893 references to my mother&#8217;s maiden name of Ufkes.
