So, are Connie & Dorothy daughter & mother? How are you related to them? I don’t need to know, but your family/relatives might like to know in the future.
That’s a good question–and I didn’t address it in the picture. They are mother and daughter and Connie is my mother.

How do you add the space at the bottom of the photo and the label? I have used Photoshop/Image/Canvas Size and then use the Text Tool to add the text but it is a lot of steps.
In Microsoft Paint, I increase the dimensions of the by changing the length and width of the entire region in the “image properties.” This adds space for me at the bottom. I don’t use Photoshop too much, but if memory serves adding a larger layer underneath the layer with the image may be the approach.
I use Cloz to catalog my documents. That allows me to put a description with the document and also associate the document with the individuals in the picture.
