Many marriage records give no hint that one of the parties had been married before. This 1852 marriage certification gives nary a clue that the bride was a widow, over forty, and the mother of several children.
Assume nothing. Lack of a “Mrs.” or “Miss” before the bride’s name usually means nothing.

Were u able to find out whether she had been or not? Thank u for your help. Did u look at children’s name ?
In this case, I already knew she had been married before. She apparently initially lived in Campbell County, Kentucky, after immigrating from Germany because that’s where her brothers were living.
