If your ancestor was a landowner and a drop of water fell on the property they owned, do you know what path it would have taken to get to the ocean?

Depending on how arid the land was, the drop of water may have evaporated or sunk into the water table far below where it fell & never thought of making its way to the ocean. This is especially true in Oklahoma where I grew up & Texas where I live part of the year now.
That’s a good point. Not every drop of water makes it to the ocean!
