If you’re wanting to do something genealogical, determine how many times each of your ancestors probably moved. For each move, include the following information–if known–which as much precision as possible:
- Point of origin.
- Destination point.
- Date of move.
- Possible, probable, or known reason for moving.
- Distance travelled.
- Citation.

Do you have a sample spreadsheet or something you use to keep this info?
No, but I’d just use as column headers the items listed in the post. I’d keep the citation (at least in the chart) fairly short.
