Do you know what until the early 20th century in the US if a native born female married an un-naturalized man that she lost her citizenship status?

  1. And don't forget to check to see if your female ancestor became a citizen. My grandmother submitted her naturalization petition at the same time as my grandfather, and it had valuable information I did not know.
